Dr Reddy's enters top 20 pharma employers list

Hyderabad: City-based drug manufacturer Dr Reddy's Laboratories Limited announced that one of the most respected publications 'Science' has named the company in its Top 20 employers list in pharma, biotechnology and biopharma for 2022. The list is based on a survey by Science as part of its annual exercise since 2002.

This year, over 6,200 scientists participated in the survey from around the world. The list of Top 20 employers includes global pharma and biotech companies. Making its debut in the list, D Reddy's was rated highly on 'treats employees with respect,' 'is socially responsible' and was one of only two companies in the list to score highly on 'provides employees with autonomy.'

The company said it has now adopted patient-centric and people-centric ESG (environmental, social and governance) goals. "Being rated as one of 2022's top employers providing safety, support, and success for scientists strengthens the company's resolve to continue to be an attractive destination for talent in science through its work and create an environment in which all employees can realise their full potential," DRL added.

Science is a peer-reviewed academic journal of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and one of the world's top academic journals, based in the US. Since 2002, Science has been studying the best organisations in biotech, pharma, and biopharma as part of its Top Employers Survey. The Science Careers' 2022 Top Employers Survey gathered feedback of over 6,200 scientists in biotech and pharma to uncover what they value in industry employers.
