Hyderabad: City-based confectionery retailer Dadu's Group is planning to expand aggressively. Rajesh Dadu started 'Dadu's Mithai Vatika' in an 800-sq ft shop at Himayatnagar in 1993. His daughter Muskaan Dadu joined the family business in 2018 as Managing Partner, and ever since the local sweets brand is growing further and further.

Currently, Dadu's Group has eight stores across the city at Himayatnagar, Secunderabad, Jubilee Hills Road No 36, Banjara Hills Road No 12, Kukatpally, Chaitanyapuri, Kondapur and one store at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA). It will be setting up six more stores in the city very soon. The company is witnessing more than 30 per cent growth every year.

“We are launching six outlets in total this year. Among them, two more are coming at the domestic terminal of RGIA. The one at the international terminal is launching in a month only. And then, we have a store coming up in AS Rao Nagar. The company is seeing more than 30 per cent growth every year. It has closed the last financial year with revenue of Rs 100+ crore,” Muskaan told Bizz Buzz.

She adds, “That's been quite a milestone for us that people working towards three-digit club. And in terms of our corporate clients, it has just been growing very fast. We have done many corporate orders during the last Dussehra and Diwali. This financial year, we are expecting to reach Rs 150-crore business.”

Beside Hyderabad, the company handles sweet deliveries across India and abroad. It is providing international deliveries to almost 40 countries. “We did our first international order roughly in October 2021. And since then, it's never stopped. Major orders come from US and Canada. There is also good demand from Germany, Dubai and Australia,” Muskaan informed.
