Visakhapatnam: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has announced the first edition of the CII Corporate Women Leadership Awards on Wednesday.
Spread across 12 categories that recognises exceptional women in the corporate world, the awards have been instituted to honour the achievements and contributions of those who are creating a new and ever-lasting template of success with Protiviti Member Firm for India, as the technical partner.
The CII Corporate Women Leadership Awards will not only recognise the present leaders but will also encourage women to excel, grow and inspire as professionals in the industry. This will draw a positive influence for the Indian women workforce at large, a release said.
The awards are dedicated to recognizing and celebrating these exceptional leaders who have proved their mettle and have created a long, sustained impact. It is important that their achievements be recognised, to enable young girls to look up to them as role models and envision themselves in such roles as future leaders in India.
The eminent panel of jury will be assessing the nominations to judge the winners across all categories. Protiviti Member Firm for India will be assisting the jury to analyse and evaluate the achievements of the nominees through an efficient yet simple assessment methodology.
