CCEA decision on RINL disinvestment completes one year

Visakhapatnam: Visakha Ukku Parirakshana Porata Samiti organised a regional sadassu at Tirupati marking first anniversary of the decision of Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) for 100 per cent disinvestment of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited. The members of committee took out a rally on Wednesday to launch a drive to collect one crore signatures against privatisation decision.
The committee has already announced its decision to protest at the city BJP office on February 13 and organise a hunger strike by 365 workers on February 12 to mark completion of one year of their relay hunger strike.
Visakhapatnam bandh will be observed on February 23. The unions will also participate in all India general strike called by the central trade unions on February 23 and 24.
