Vijayawada: Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has advised all State Designated Agencies (SDAs) including AP State Energy Conservation Mission (APSECM) to create massive awareness on energy savings theme of LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) movement. The Government of India launched Mission LiFE which is envisioned as an India-led global mass movement that will nudge individual and collective action to protect and preserve the environment. Mission LiFE makes the fight against climate change, in which everyone can contribute with their respective capacities.
Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) Leena Nandan communicated to Secretary, Ministry of Power Alok Kumar regarding various actionable points of Ministry of Power and BEE under Mission LiFE, out of which creation of awareness about LiFE mission in energy clubs established in Schools across all the States/UTs is one of the activity.
