Banks work only 21 days this month
As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announcement, banks in Hyderabad will be closed for almost nine days due to various holidays in September. The banks will be working only for 21 days this month, excluding Sundays, second & fourth Saturdays and these holidays that are allowed under the Negotiable Instruments Act.

Hyderabad As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announcement, banks in Hyderabad will be closed for almost nine days due to various holidays in September. The banks will be working only for 21 days this month, excluding Sundays, second & fourth Saturdays and these holidays that are allowed under the Negotiable Instruments Act.
However, these holidays might not be the same in all States. So, not every bank across the country will be closed for nine days. In Hyderabad, banks will be closed on Sundays and the second Saturday of the month. Additionally, there will be closures on September 7th, 18th, and 28th for celebrating Sri Krishna Janmashtami, Ganesh Chaturthi, and Eid-E-Milad respectively.
Even though the banks will be closed on these days, the customers can still do the banking transactions online.
