🏦 Bank Holiday for 2025 Valmiki Jayanti and Kumar Purnima
Valmiki Jayanti commemorates the birth of Maharshi Valmiki-the great sage and the author of Ramayana. Simultaneously, Kumar Purnima is observed in Odisha in honor of Lord Kartikeya.
Due to these holidays, banks in select cities such as Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, and Shimla will remain closed today. However, banks in all other big cities of India are functional and working on a regular basis.
