RGIA new speed limit: Rajiv Gandhi International Airport speed restriction

Approach road speed limit at RGIA:

As per the travel updates for Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, from February 7, the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Shamshabad approach road will have a new speed limit of 80 km/h. This is according to a statement from the airport authorities.

Implementation of new speed restrictions:

An automatic speed enforcement system has been put in place on the airport approach road to make it safer for all travellers. This speed limit was put in place with the help of the State Traffic Police to encourage drivers to be more careful.

For the safety of everyone on the road and apt traffic management at Hyderabad airport, the airport advisory stressed how important it was to follow the speed limit. If people don't follow the rules, the Traffic Police will fine them according to the rules.
