IndiGo flight between Vijayawada, S'pore from Nov 15

Vijayawada: After a gap of six years, Vijayawada, a commercial hub, which gained more significance due to development of capital city at nearby Amaravati will get a direct flight to Singapore from November 15.

Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu said "I’m delighted to announce the launch of a direct international flight between Vijayawada and Singapore, a significant step towards enhanced global connectivity for Andhra Pradesh. Starting from 15 November, 2025."

He said on his X handle "@IndiGo6E will operate tri-weekly flights between Vijayawada and Singapore Changi Airport on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. This milestone aligns with Hon’ble CM Shri @ncbn garu’s vision of a Connected Andhra Pradesh. The Telugu diaspora, students, and business travellers will benefit from this seamless international link.'
