The all-new Tata Sierra debuts in India with a triple-screen dashboard, panoramic sunroof, AR HUD, and segment-first tech features.

Tata Motors has formally brought back the legendary Sierra brand to the Indian market by releasing the brand new 5-door Sierra SUV at a starting price of ₹11.40 lakh (ex-showroom). The booking process for the SUV will open on December 16, 2025, and customer delivery will begin on January 15, 2026.
Incorporating unprecedented technology for this sector, a contemporary design style, and an upscale interior, the new Sierra is set to assert its presence powerfully in the already competitive mid-size SUV segment.
TheatrePro Triple-Screen Dashboard
One of the biggest highlights inside the Tata Sierra is its TheatrePro triple-screen dashboard, a first in the segment. Instead of the usual dual-display setup, Tata has added a dedicated 12.3-inch screen for the front passenger, alongside a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen.
This three-screen layout offers personalised entertainment for the co-driver while enhancing tech appeal and cabin sophistication.
Premium JBL Audio System With SonicShaft Soundbar
The Sierra gets a 12-speaker JBL Black audio system paired with Dolby Atmos for an immersive surround-sound experience. The highlight is the SonicShaft soundbar, integrated neatly above the climate control area—similar to high-end home theatre soundbars. It widens the sound field and offers superior clarity compared to conventional speaker placements.
Largest Panoramic Sunroof in Segment
Tata has equipped the Sierra with PanoraMax, the segment’s largest panoramic sunroof measuring 1525 mm x 925 mm. Stretching all the way back to the C-pillar, it fills the cabin with natural light and enhances space perception. The design pays tribute to the original Sierra’s signature Alpine windows while improving comfort and durability.
India’s First Homegrown ICE Vehicle With AR HUD
The new Sierra becomes India’s first domestic ICE car to offer an AR Heads-Up Display. It projects navigation cues, speed, warnings, and directional overlays directly onto the windshield. Drivers can choose from four modes—Standard, Immersive, Personal, and Snow—with 19 dynamic visual elements adapting to the environment.
iRA Connected Car Suite With 75 Smart Features
Tata’s iRA connected car platform brings 75 intelligent functions, including five segment-first features. It offers real-time alerts, safety enhancements, remote controls, vehicle diagnostics, and even personalised celebratory notifications—aiming to make everyday driving more intuitive and connected.
Segment-First R19 Alloy Wheels
The Tata Sierra also debuts segment-first 19-inch alloy wheels, larger than what rivals like the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, and Maruti Grand Vitara offer. These wheels enhance the SUV’s road presence, though ride comfort will depend on suspension tuning.
New Engine Options & A.R.G.O.S. Platform
The Sierra comes with two new engine choices:
1.5-litre Hyperion Turbo GDi
Output: 160 PS & 255 Nm
1.5-litre Revotron Naturally-Aspirated Petrol
It is also the first SUV to use Tata’s all-new A.R.G.O.S. platform (All-Terrain Ready, Omni-Energy, Geometry Scalable), engineered for versatility, safety, and enhanced driving dynamics.
