Tata Altroz facelift set for launch on May 22, 2025: Here's what's new

Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the much-anticipated Altroz Facelift on May 22, 2025. This marks the first significant upgrade for the premium hatchback since its debut in 2020. The refreshed Altroz will continue to compete with segment leaders like the Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, and Toyota Glanza.
Design: Sharper and Smarter
The 2025 Altroz Facelift brings a bold new look. The front fascia gets a major revamp with LED split headlamps, redesigned daytime running lights (DRLs), a sleeker black grille, and a sportier front bumper featuring vertical fog lamp housings.
On the sides, the facelift introduces illuminated flush door handles and new 16-inch alloy wheels, while retaining the overall silhouette of the outgoing model. At the rear, top variants boast LED light bars running across the width, paired with reshaped LED tail lamps, adding a modern touch.
Cabin: A Tech-Rich Makeover
Inside, the Altroz gets a refreshed cabin with a dual-tone dashboard in a contrasting triple-layer layout. The centerpiece is a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a matching HD touchscreen infotainment system.
One standout feature is the new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, replacing the older three-spoke design. Other upgrades include:
Ventilated front seats
Powered driver’s seat
Auto-dimming IRVM
Ambient lighting
These changes elevate the premium feel of the hatchback.
Variants and Trims
The 2025 Altroz Facelift will be offered in five trims:
Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished, and Accomplished +S — providing a wide range of options for buyers with different preferences.
