Statiq brings a new app for EV users, buyers

Hyderabad: In a development that marks a huge impetus for electric mobility in Telangana, Statiq, India’s largest EV charging network provider, has developed TSEV, an all-purpose app for EV users and buyers in the State. The app was launched by KT Rama Rao, IT & Industries Minister in the State government. As a white-label solution that is already functional, TSEV provides a single-point interface for not only EV owners looking to recharge their EVs, but also those intending to purchase a new EV in the State. In effect, the app also doubles up as an e-commerce platform for the sale of EVs in the State.

“As a tech partner of the Telangana government, we are indeed proud to have come up with this solution. With the ever-growing popularity of EVs in the State demonstrated in their rising numbers, the app has proven to be a perfect end-to-end solution for EV users wishing to recharge their vehicles or access related services. From discovering or locating the nearest charging station to determining the right charging point for their EVs to paying for a charging session, the app has provided a complete and seamless charging experience for EV users. And all at the click of a mobile phone button,” said Raghav Arora, Co-founder and CTO of Statiq.

“Importantly, the app also serves as a useful platform for those contemplating the purchase of a new 2 or 3-wheeler EV in the State. With the presence of all authorised dealers of EVs on this government-backed app, a would-be purchaser has the option to make the purchase of his choice making his buying journey more trustful than ever and clear of any doubts and misgivings. And with such a user-friendly interface increasingly becoming more popular coupled with the increasing footprint of charging installations and related infrastructure, more and more EVs are likely to be purchased and used in the coming future,” he added.
