Hyderabad: Skoda Auto India has announced its all-new compact SUV, marking a step into a New Era focused on user engagement, customer involvement, and digitalization. The company launched various digital activities aimed at enhancing sales and connecting with customers and fans.

Petr Janeba, Brand Director of Skoda Auto India, emphasized the importance of pioneering new ways to enhance customer experiences in the evolving digital landscape. The "Name Your Skoda" campaign, for the upcoming compact SUV, received over 150,000 entries, with 21,000 unique names adhering to Skoda's naming tradition.

In celebration of its 24th year in India, Skoda Auto India conducted a 24-hour digital sale on March 24, 2024, resulting in 709 car bookings. The initiative aimed to make Skoda cars accessible to a wider audience, continuing their commitment to safety with 5-star ratings for adults and children.

Introducing "Skoda Gearheads," a unique nationwide membership program for automobile enthusiasts. Members will enjoy VIP treatment at events, exclusive benefits on car purchases, insider updates, and invitations to gatherings with experts. Memberships will be minted as dynamic NFTs on the Skodaverse India platform.

Skoda's digital initiatives come after a successful year, with over 100,000 cars sold between 2022 and 2023. The upcoming compact SUV, based on the MQB-A0-IN platform like the Kushaq SUV and Slavia sedan, is set to debut in India in the first half of 2025. This platform was developed for India with a focus on safety, dynamics, and localization.

Skoda Auto India's digital journey began years ago when it fully digitalized its showrooms, offering interactive experiences for customers. In 2023, the Service CAM initiative was introduced, allowing customers to monitor and manage service tasks through a phone app, enhancing transparency and ownership experiences.
