Q4 net profit of TVS Motor reached Rs 336 crore; revenue reached Rs 8,031 crore

As a result of robust sales, TVS Motor Company on Thursday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 336 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023.

In the same period last year, the company reported a net profit of Rs 277 crore.

TVS Motor Company said in a regulatory filing that revenue from operations rose to Rs 8,031 crore in January-March from Rs 6,585 crore in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2021-22.

According to the company, 8.68 units were sold in the fourth quarter of 2023 compared to 8.56 lakh units a year ago.

A consolidated net profit of Rs 1,329 crore was posted by the company for the 2022-23 fiscal year as opposed to Rs 757 crore in FY22. During the 2021-22 fiscal year, revenues from operations increased to Rs 31,974 crore from Rs 24,355 crore.

The company sold 36.82 lakh two-wheelers and three-wheelers in FY23, up 11 percent from 33.10 lakh units in FY21-22.
