Kawasaki Versys-X 300 Launch Price Set at Rs 3.8 Lakh, Rivals Himalayan and 390 ADV
Kawasaki is paying at the ever-changing needs of adventure bikers from India. In this respect, Kawasaki just launched Versys-X 300 in India with the intention to capture a large chunk of the 300cc-500cc ADV segment. Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure have been having fun all the way.

Kawasaki Versys-X 300 launches price is involved, Kawasaki's Versys X 300 retails at about 3.8 million (Ex-sh).
It's a decent price given that it has an upgraded and powerful high-revving twin-cylinder motor. To put it in perspective 2025, KTM 390 Adventure costs Rs 3.68 lakh (Ex-sh) which is an ounce smaller than the Versys X 300.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 emerges as a good value option since it is priced between 2.85 lakh (Ex-sh) and the price of 2.98 lakh (Ex-sh). On the official social media accounts, Kawasaki has showcased two colors - Candy Lime Green / Metallic Flat Spark Black and then a fascinating Pearl Horizon White.
Versys-X 300 is based on the same design that is it is seen on the global specification model. It has a wide windscreen, a single headlamp with a halogen ring, a long tank that has extension tanks and an upward-sloping exhaust. It has a large rear grab rail that is accompanied by a robust-looking luggage rack.
Features and Equipment
The ground clearance will likely to be around 180 millimeters and a total kerb weight of 185 kilograms. The riding position is fairly upright. It has a single piece stepped seat with mid-set feetpegs, and the handlebars are wide-set and elevated that make it perfect for both off-road and touring adventure. Versys-X 300 shares its engine with Ninja 300.
The 269cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine has around 1.0 PS of maximum power, and 26Nm peak torque. It is connected to a slipper-clutch and a six-speed gearbox. The Versys-X 300 engine features traditional telescopic RSU forks upfront and mono-shocks at the back while incorporating disc brakes with petal discs on both ends and dual-channel ABS for braking.
