Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch a brand‑new mid‑size SUV, internally codenamed Y17, likely to be branded the “Escudo”, in India during the 2025 festive season.his five‑seater SUV will be positioned between the compact Brezza and the premium Grand Vitara, aiming squarely at the hot-selling segment currently led by the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
