Maruti lines up Rs 10,189 cr for new plant in Gujarat

New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India on Tuesday said it will invest Rs 10,189 crore to set up 2.5 lakh production capacity in the first phase at its new manufacturing plant in Gujarat. The company said its board has approved the addition of the first phase of capacity of 2.5 lakh vehicles per annum at Khoraj Industrial Estate manufacturing plant in Gujarat, the auto major’s fifth manufacturing plant in the country.
