Apollo Hospitals, largest integrated healthcare provider, on Thursday announced its position as the largest Cardiac care programme in India and one of the leading cardiac programmes in the world in terms of scale, outcomes, complexity, diversity and access. The Cardiac Center of Excellence at Apollo, spread across 38 hospitals with over 375 consultants, has conducted more than three lakh angioplasties and two lakh cardiac surgeries.
Apollo said it is the first corporate hospital group and largest private tertiary care institution for cardiovascular sciences in India as it attracts patients from over 140 countries. The clinical offering includes treatment for coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, congenital heart conditions and heart failure through advanced modalities, critical care, post-op rehab services and preventive cardiac care through cardiac risk prediction and disease prevention programme, AICVD.
