Visakhapatnam In yet another industrial accident in undivided Visakhapatnam district, two persons died and three others sustained serious injuries after they fell down while undertaking gas desalination work at the NTPC Simhadri Super Thermal Power Plant at Deepanjalinagar in Anakapalli district near here on Thursday afternoon.

The dead hail from West Bengal and were engaged in work by a private company deployed by NTPC. While the management did not confirm the fatalities, NTPC Simhadri Contract Workers Union honorary president Neerukonda Ramachandra Rao blamed negligence on the part of the management for the death of the workers at around 2 pm.
