$10 bn boost to Essar arm for US steel project

Washington: The US Export-Import Bank (EXIM) has announced up to $10 billion in support for Mesabi Metallics, an Essar Group company, for a major mining and manufacturing project in Minnesota. The announcement was made at the Indo-Pacific Energy Security Ministerial and Business Forum in Tokyo. EXIM said the financing is part of nearly $30 billion in strategic deals.
