The Telangana government has launched a major initiative in Hyderabad, distributing new ration cards to thousands of families from August 1 to August 3, 2025. This move aims to extend food security benefits to a total of 2,32,297 citizens, strengthening the state’s welfare outreach.
📌 Breakdown of Beneficiaries
55,378 new ration cards will be issued, covering 2,01,116 individuals
An additional 1,37,947 beneficiaries will be added to existing cards
In total, 2.32 lakh people will benefit from the distribution drive
