Yash’s Toxic Drops strong Battlefield Poster; Release Date Stays Locked amid OTT Action Boom
Yash stuns fans as Toxic reveals a gritty battlefield poster, while makers confirm the release date stays unchanged amid rising OTT action trends.
Toxic star Yash appears as Raya in a dark, stylised poster ahead of the film’s high-stakes box-office clash with Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh.

Buzz is peaking around on Yash’s Toxic as it charges ahead into a high-stakes box-office
showdown with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge on March 19, 2026. It is going to
set up the stage for one of the year’s largest cinematic clashes.
Earlier in 2026, the makers of the movie launched a new poster. As per the news, the film's new
promo will be shared on February 20.
The new poster speaks about the dark tone, shaped by ambiguity and violence shown in the
movie. It features Yash as Raya, his face hidden as he drinks straight from the bottle. The
covering evokes unseen violence in an intoxicating world.
Yash's Introduction - Teaser For Toxic
The first promotional video of Toxic, introducing character Raya, was released on Yash's 40th
birthday on January 8. One of the most talked about moments was the brief scene engaging a
woman inside a car with Yash.
The first scene is shot in a dark setup, stylised, and relies completely on visual suggestion instead
of dialogue. The woman is shown in a close frame inside the car, which further turned into a
bone of argument.
Last week, a group of social media users targeted the manager over claims of the "objectification
of women" in the promotional video.
In an Instagram story, Geetu Mohandas replied to trolls. She wrote "Chilling while people figure
out female pleasure, consent, women playing systems, etc., etc."
Complaint Filed Against Toxic for 'Hurting Religious Sentiments'
Yash-starrer Toxic has become a hot topic after the National Christian Federation filed a formal
complaint against the movie. They claim that some scenes of the movie are offensive to
Christians and contradict their religious beliefs.
