The finale delivered a shocking end. Ju-Yeon (Shin Min-ah) chooses to spare Beom-Jun, only for him to fall into the hands of loan sharks who confuse him with Park Jae-Yeong (Lee Hee-Joon). Things spiral when Beom-Jun is handed over to Ju-Yeon’s boyfriend, Yun Jeong-min (Kim Nam-gil), a doctor performing illegal organ removals for loan sharks. Despite pleading for his life, Beom-Jun is ultimately killed—cementing the drama’s karmic message.

Park Hae-Soo, reflecting on his role, shared:

"What drew me most was how intense and extreme the story was while still flowing cohesively. My character was selfish, even despicable—but also foolish and strangely comical, which made it an exciting challenge."
