When & Where to Watch Mirai Online?

The highly awaited Telugu fantasy action-adventure Mirai premiered in cinemas worldwide on Friday, drawing attention after weeks of pre-release screenings and special previews. Directed and co-written by Karthik Gattamneni, the film has been described as one of the most technically ambitious projects in contemporary Telugu cinema.

Produced under the People Media Factory banner by T.G. Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad, Mirai—also promoted as Mirāi: Super Yodha—features Teja Sajja in the lead. The cast also includes Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, and Jayaram. The story follows a clever street-smart protagonist who unexpectedly becomes the protector of nine sacred books connected to Emperor Ashoka. His journey unfolds in a world infused with cosmic energy, referred to in the film as the “power of Brahmand.”

While the film is currently running in theaters, reports suggest digital streaming plans are already underway. According to OTTplay, JioHotstar has reportedly acquired Mirai’s streaming rights for an estimated Rs 40 crore. Official confirmation from either the production house or the streaming platform is still awaited. If finalized, JioHotstar will host the film exclusively after its theatrical run concludes.

Mirai boasts a technically skilled team behind the camera. Gattamneni handled both direction and cinematography, with National Award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad managing the editing. Gowra Hari composed the music, while action sequences were crafted by an international team including Kecha Khampakdee and Pradeet Seelum. VFX supervision was led by Ramji Dott, with PMF VFX and Deccan Dreams contributing extensive visual effects work.

The film’s visual identity was further enhanced by costume designers Rekha Boggarapu and Lanka Santoshi for lead Teja Sajja, alongside production design by Srinagendra Tangala.
