The much-awaited bilingual film Kuberaa, led by actors Dhanush and Nagarjuna, opened in cinemas today, with digital streaming confirmed for July on Amazon Prime Video.
Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the drama addresses contemporary societal themes and features Rashmika Mandanna in a pivotal role. Music for the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
The digital rights for Kuberaa were acquired by Amazon Prime Video for an estimated Rs 50 crore, making it one of the costliest OTT deals for both leading actors. According to production sources, the movie will be available for streaming in the third week of July, following its theatrical run.
Sunil Narang, one of the film’s producers, confirmed the high-value OTT agreement, citing increased interest due to the film’s multi-star cast and the director’s reputation for storytelling.
Kuberaa is designed for a broad audience across Tamil and Telugu markets. Promotional content has drawn significant online traction, further boosting its visibility ahead of release.
