Following its August theatrical release, the latest spy thriller, War 2, is set to debut on OTT platforms. The action-packed film is directed by Ayan Mukerji and marks the sixth installment in the Yash Raj Films (YRF) Spy Universe.
Produced by Aditya Chopra, War 2 brings together Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in his Bollywood debut, alongside Kiara Advani. The narrative follows Kabir (Roshan), a former RAW agent who is rumored to have gone rogue while infiltrating a dangerous cartel. Tasked with stopping him is Vikram Chelapathi (Jr NTR), a determined special operations officer. As the story progresses, shifting alliances and unexpected betrayals intensify the suspense.
The film also features notable performances by Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor, adding depth to the espionage drama. A post-credit scene introduces Bobby Deol, setting the stage for the upcoming Alpha film, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh.
