Lady Gaga wins Artist of the Year at VMAs 2025, while Rosé and Bruno Mars take Song of the Year for Apt.
The top international music was honoured at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) 2025, which were hosted by LL Cool J at New York's UBS Arena. Lady Gaga won Artist of the Year on the star-studded evening, and Bruno Mars and Rosé won Song of the Year for their hit song "Apt."

After winning, Lady Gaga, who received twelve nominations, gave a moving speech in which she referred to art as "a discipline meant for connecting souls across the world."

Lady Gaga’s Emotional Speech
Reflecting on her win, Gaga said:
