Three years after making waves at the Cannes Film Festival with Top Gun: Maverick, Tom Cruise returned once again, this time with his world-premiere of Mission: Impossible -- Final Reckoning, the latest exciting installment in the legendary action franchise.

Cruise aged 62, she received a roaring five-minute standing ovation at the Final Reckoning
premiere on stage at the Grand Theatre Lumiere on Wednesday.
A video shared by Deadline shows the actor walking through the aisles of the theater while the
audience booed the latest installment of the series.
The film was directed by Christopher McQuarrie and co-stars Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg,
Hannah Waddingham, Angela Bassett, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, and Greg Tarzan
Davis, Cruise was looking happy and smiling when the theater exploded with applause and hoots
after the film's premiere.
The Hollywood actor was seen grabbing an opportunity to speak and expressed his appreciation
to the festival's audience. "I'm very grateful to be a part of this franchise," the actor said as he
recalled his 30 years as the character in Mission: Impossible.
Mission: Impossible — Final Reckoning, directed by Christopher McQuarrie, was the largest
Hollywood tentpole to arrive on the French Riviera this year. McQuarrie also took the
opportunity to laud his director, who has been in charge of four films from the series.
"Every step of the way, what you've done, how you've expanded it, how you just went beyond
our expectations," Cruise declared, describing the director as "absolutely brilliant."
"To be here in Cannes Film Festival 2025 and have these moments--as a kid, I couldn't have
dreamed of something like this," he declared. "I'm extremely grateful for the chance to keep you
entertained by running this business for thirty years.
"He has also hints at further collaborations in the future, saying that he is looking forward to
working with McQuarrie once more in the near future.Before taking a step back, Cruise turned to
the audience once again, and offered gratitude for their continuous assistance.
Cruise's appearance at the festival created an outrage in the media and enthralled fans with his
appearance.
