The Family Man Season 3 Streaming Soon: Everything Fans Are Waiting For

The widely loved Indian web series The Family Man is back with its third season that is going to be streamed on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, November 21. The show has reigned over the Indian digital entertainment space for more than 6 years and has gained both the public's interest and the critics' appreciating.

The series features the mix of espionage and hilariousness, a combination which was first met with doubt by the international industry experts. Raj Nidimoru, one of the series' creators along with DK, told that an American director who had read the script was initially not for the hodgepodge of genres. "They said you can’t merge thriller and comedy this way. Usually, spy stories are based on action, drama, or crime with humor hardly ever being added," Raj stated.

However, to the surprise of the doubters, the first two seasons turned out to be commercially very successful, with very high expectations for Season 3. Raj also pointed out that in some parts of the editing the comedic elements were cut down so as not to overshadow the story. "Some parts were so funny that it was hard to keep them with the context, hence we deleted them," he remarked.

With the story in Season 3 being centered around Northeast India, the previous areas of Kashmir in Season 1 and Chennai in Season 2, which focused on the Tamil Eelam, are now dead chapters in the narration. Raj maintained that the choice of the Northeast was very much intentional. "After visiting other places, we wanted to bring the spotlight to these regions that are scarcely or wrongly portrayed in the mainstream stories," he remarked.

Manoj Bajpayee who plays Srikanth Tiwari once again, is backed by the cast including Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Shreya Dhanwantari, Gul Panag, Ashlesha Thakur, and Vedant Sinha. Moreover, Season 3 has also brought in Nimrat Kaur and Jaideep Ahlawat as the fresh villains.
