Tejasswi Prakash Shines on Celebrity MasterChef with Her Innovative Crystal Bread
The most recent Celebrity MasterChef task demanded contestants to use their flavor memory and ingredient identification skills.
Tejasswi Prakash astounded viewers in the Celebrity MasterChef India finale by successfully preparing the complex ‘crystal bread’ which had defeated multiple international contestants during pressure tests. Tejasswi demonstrated boldness when she competed against experienced home cooks and succeeded with her dish that reflected her personal touch as well as her ambition.
Tejasswi presented her last dish as salt-baked rawas fish that maintained perfect moisture levels. She said her choice was salt-based rawas fish because she made it that way. The moisture I preserved in the dish remains evident to you through its taste. The crystal bread I created presented significant difficulty for me to make. During one MasterChef season contestants faced a pressure test challenge that involved making crystal bread which resulted in no successful attempts. For today's final round I decided to challenge myself by attempting to create the elusive crystal bread. It is very delicate.”
Judge Farah Khan reviewed the presentation and observed that the crystal bread lacked visual distinction. However, Sanjeev Kapoor had a different take. The true spectacle lies within the fish presentation as he explained that diners witness the whole fish being delivered, baked, and served directly to them.
The crystal bread is incidental. Her precision sets her apart from large-scale chefs.
Ranveer Brar showed great admiration for Tejasswi’s dedication and culinary skills. “No homecook could make this bread. The timing is very important. This is very difficult to achieve. Teja has cracked it,” he said.
Farah expressed her doubts about the crystal bread but she did enjoy the fish. Tejasswi earned the second runner-up position through her final dish that demonstrated her boldness and technical skills under pressure. Her performance confirmed her status as one of the season's most daring and creative competitors.
