Bigg Boss 19 contestant Tanya Mittal reacts to backlash over her Pahalgam attack remark, says she remains unfazed.

Spiritual influencer and entrepreneur Tanya Mittal, currently seen in Bigg Boss 19, has responded to the controversy surrounding her remarks on the Pahalgam attack earlier this year. Despite facing heavy backlash, she insists she remained unaffected.
Controversy Over Pahalgam Remark
On April 22, following the Pahalgam attack in which 26 tourists were killed, Tanya had shared a video stating, “Terrorism has no religion.” Her comments triggered a wave of criticism on social media. Soon after, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department issued a clarification that Tanya was never associated with them as a brand ambassador, contrary to what was mentioned in her Instagram bio.
Tanya’s Reaction
Speaking ahead of entering the Bigg Boss house, Tanya said she was unbothered by the criticism.
“When the controversy happened, within 48 hours I was traveling and making videos. It didn’t affect me. I know my truth. If goodness has to prove itself, then evil wins. Be a good person and move on from places where people don’t respect your goodness,” she shared.
She further added that the fallout with MP Tourism worked in her favor:
“I’m very happy that they left me because now we are more involved in other states too. So is there anything stopping me?”
