The viral Starbucks “Bearista” teddy bear cup, which previously sold out within minutes, is making a limited-time return through the Starbucks app.
The wildly popular Starbucks “Bearista” cup — the adorable teddy-bear–themed drinkware that went viral and sold out within minutes earlier this year — is officially making a comeback.
Starbucks teased the cup’s return on Instagram on Sunday, Dec. 7, hinting at a limited release through the brand’s mobile app.
“Your chance is in the Starbucks app. Tomorrow, 12/8,” the caption read.
However, the company has not revealed any further information about how or when customers will be able to purchase the collectible cup.
As of 6:30 a.m. on Monday, the Bearista cup was still not visible in the Starbucks app. Fans online are speculating that the cup might be offered as a prize through the new “Starbucks for Life Merrython” game, which is expected to launch for Starbucks Rewards members starting Monday. But as of the same time, the game had also not appeared in the app.
Starbucks enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for updates as the brand has yet to confirm the availability details.
