Telugu cinema audiences have welcomed Sree Vishnu’s latest release, Single, which premiered on May 9, 2025. The film has already generated Rs 6 crore in box office revenue during its first two days, marking a strong opening for a regional language movie.
Single is scheduled to become available for streaming on ZEE5 following its theatrical run. Industry insiders, including OTTPlay, expect the digital premiere to occur during the first week of June.
The film features Sree Vishnu as the lead, supported by Ketika Sharma, Ivana, Vennela Kishore, VTV Ganesh, and Kalpa Latha. Directed by Caarthick Raju, Single is produced under the banners of Geeta Arts and Kalya Films by Vidya Koppineedi, Bhanu Pratapa, and Riyaz Chowdary. The project is presented by renowned producer Allu Aravind. The soundtrack is composed by Vishal Chandrashekhar, while R. Velraj handles cinematography and editing is managed by Praveen K. L.
The story follows Vijay, a carefree bank employee portrayed by Sree Vishnu, who is eager to find love and end his single status. His pursuit of romance begins when he meets Purva, played by Ketika Sharma, leading to humorous and heartfelt moments. However, the plot thickens as another vibrant character, Harini (Ivana), enters the scene, complicating Vijay’s love life. The narrative revolves around Vijay’s romantic dilemma and the choices he must make. Critical reception of Single has been moderate.
