Actor-model Shefali Jariwala, known for her iconic "Kaanta Laga" music video, was cremated on June 28 at Mumbai’s Oshiwara Crematorium. She passed away suddenly at 42 due to cardiac arrest on June 27. Found unconscious at her Andheri home, she was rushed to the hospital where she was declared dead.
Family, friends, and industry colleagues gathered to pay their respects during the emotional final rites. Fellow TV celebrities like Aarti Singh, Mahira Sharma, and Rashami Desai were present at her residence before the cremation.
Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, was visibly emotional while performing the rituals. The entertainment world and fans alike are mourning the loss of a talented and vibrant performer who left an indelible mark across music videos, television, and reality shows.
Shefali is survived by her husband Parag Tyagi.
