Sankranthi 2026 Releases: Full List of Telugu & Dubbed Movies Hitting Theatres This Festival Season

Sankranti.. is as important a festival for Telugu people as it is for Tollywood. Because during Pongal time, movie lovers go to the movies with their families and enjoy the fun. Makers think that if they release their films then, they can earn good collections.
With this, they announce in advance that their films will be released on Sankranthi. They put on scarves. But every year on Sankranthi, there is definitely a tough competition at the box office. That has become common. The same will happen this time too. Seven films will be released in theaters as a Sankranthi gift.
Films starring Tollywood heroes Chiranjeevi, Prabhas, Ravi Teja, Sharwanand, and Naveen Polishetty in different lead roles will be released as Pongal specials. At the same time, films starring Kollywood heroes Vijay Thalapathy and Siva Karthikeyan in different roles will also be making waves in the form of Telugu dubbed versions.
However, it seems that the release dates of about seven movies have also been finalized. First, the Sankranthi buzz will start with Prabhas' The Raja Saab movie. That movie will be released on January 9th. On the same day, Vijay Thalapathy's last movie, Jana Nayagan, will also hit the theaters.
After that, it seems that Chiranjeevi's Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu movie will be released on January 12th. It is reported that the movie will be released three days after The Raja Saab and Jana Nayagan. While seven movies are releasing for Sankranthi, only Chiru's movie will be released solo.
