Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s latest social media activity has reignited public interest in her rumored relationship with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, coinciding with the growing success of her debut production, Subham.
On Wednesday, the actor-turned-producer uploaded a series of images to her Instagram handle, expressing gratitude for the audience's reception of Subham, which marks her first outing as a producer under Tralala Moving Pictures. Among the uploaded pictures were two that have attracted significant attention.
The first image features Samantha alongside Raj Nidimoru and the Subham production team, standing before a promotional poster of the film. However, it was a second image — an in-flight selfie where Samantha is seen leaning on Raj’s shoulder — that has stirred speculation among fans. The post lacks any direct confirmation, but the intimate nature of the photo has triggered widespread discussion on whether the actress is hinting at a deeper connection.
In the caption, Samantha wrote: “Thank you for watching, feeling and celebrating #SUBHAM with us. Our very first step—fuelled by heart, madness and the belief that new, fresh stories matter. We are @tralalamovingpictures. And with Subham, the journey has begun.”
This is not the first time the duo has been spotted together in public. In April, Samantha and Raj were seen at the Tirumala Tirupati Temple ahead of the film’s release. Samantha appeared in a pink salwar suit, while Raj opted for a traditional white dhoti and blue shirt ensemble.
Their association dates back to The Family Man 2, where Samantha played a pivotal role as Raji, earning widespread acclaim. They reunited again for Citadel: Honey Bunny, the Indian spin-off of the international series. Future collaborations reportedly include Rakht Brahmand and The Family Man 3.
Despite the rising chatter around her personal life, Samantha has remained silent on the subject. She was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya, with the two announcing their separation in 2021. Chaitanya has since remarried, tying the knot with actress Sobhita Dhulipala following a long-term relationship.
The focus, however, remains equally on Subham, which industry insiders say could mark a new chapter for Samantha in film production. Public figures, including Ram Charan, have commended her efforts, with Charan calling it a “fantastic start.”
