Salman Khan Bigg Boss 19 Hosting Fee: Reportedly Rs 120–150 Crore for First Three Months

Bigg Boss 19 is all set to premiere on August 30, and anticipation is already sky-high among fans. The digital-first season will see Salman Khan returning as the host for the first three months, sparking conversations about his reportedly massive fee.

Salman Khan’s Staggering Pay

Sources reveal that Salman Khan is expected to earn between Rs 120–150 crore for hosting Bigg Boss 19 across 15 weeks, which roughly translates to Rs 8–10 crore per weekend. The show will primarily stream on Jio Hotstar, with same-day telecasts on Colors TV. Despite a reportedly smaller overall budget this season, Salman’s pay reflects his unmatched star power and the digital-first strategy of the show.

For perspective, Salman had charged Rs 96 crore for Bigg Boss OTT 2. His fees for Bigg Boss 17 and 18 were around Rs 200 crore and Rs 250 crore, respectively. Bigg Boss 19 will also feature guest hosts for the latter months, which slightly reduces his overall payout compared to traditional TV versions but remains higher than previous OTT editions.

Digital-First Format and Guest Hosts

Bigg Boss 19 will run for a total of five months. Salman will host the initial three months, while celebrity guest hosts like Farah Khan, Karan Johar, and Anil Kapoor are expected to take over afterward. Episodes will drop first on Jio Hotstar, followed by a Colors TV broadcast after roughly 90 minutes.

The promotional material, released on July 21, highlights a political theme, marking the start of the show’s digital-first marketing campaign.

Rumoured Contestants

Although the official lineup is yet to be confirmed, rumoured participants include Gautami Kapoor, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Alisha Panwar, Khushi Dubey, Gaurav Taneja, Mr Faisu, Apoorva Mukhija, Purav Jha, Gaurav Khanna, Dhanashree Verma, Sriram Chandra, Arshifa Khan, and Mickey Makeover. Fans are eagerly awaiting the final cast and the high-voltage drama that Bigg Boss 19 promises.
