Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar Becomes a Hit, Beats Lokah Lifetime Collection

Aditya Dhar's strict military-grade espionage drama thriller, Dhurandhar starring Ranveer Singh, eventually came into play at the box office. Released on Friday, the movie ended up its first week. At home it garnered ₹218 crores against ₹313 crore worldwide, escalating a generation higher than Lokah-Chapter 1 – Chandra’s life earnings.

The domestic net thus amounted to an astonishing ₹218 crores for seven days.

The hit breathes down the neck of evergreen Shah Rukh Khan hits such as Salman Khan’s Main Hoon Na, Aamir Khan’s Taare Zameen Par, Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2. The war thriller will aim for War 2 by Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, who lifetime collected ₹364.25 crore.
