Earlier, renowned actor Allu Arjun had pledged Rs 25 lakh to support Sri Tej’s family, and director Sukumar, along with his wife Tabitha, contributed an additional Rs 5 lakh. Producers Allu Aravind and Bunny Vasulu have also committed to providing ongoing support to the family.
In a related development, Allu Arjun was briefly detained following the stampede but was granted a four-week interim bail by the Telangana High Court.
