Pan-India actor Prabhas is actively working on two major upcoming releases — The Raja Saab and Fauji. With The Raja Saab wrapping up its filming recently, the spotlight has now shifted to Fauji, which is progressing swiftly at Ramoji Film City.
According to sources close to the production, director Hanu Raghavapudi is currently filming pivotal sequences on a specially erected vintage timber depot set. The schedule includes Prabhas and several key cast members.
Set in the era of 1940s British India, Fauji is a war-based romantic action film. Prabhas will be portraying a soldier, and the story is expected to weave intense emotion with grand visuals and patriotic undertones.
The film marks the big-screen debut of Instagram personality Imanvi, who joins a seasoned ensemble that includes Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and Jayapradha. Music director Vishal Chandrasekhar is composing the soundtrack. The project is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
