Pawan Kalyan starrer They Call Him OG breaks records on Day 1, outperforming Sujeeth’s previous film Saaho at the Indian box office.

The day the film released saw one of the big box office openings in 2025, with designs by Sujeeth and starring Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi.
The film was released on September 25, with Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj playing significant roles in the movie.
They Call Him OG did Rs 70 crore grosser on the opening day across all languages in India, says Sacnilk.com. This comprises Rs 20.25 crore gross from paid previews in Telugu the day before the official release, thereby giving it a total Day 1 gross of Rs 90.25 crore domestically.
These figures easily surpassed the opening day record set by Sujeeth's earlier blockbuster, Saaho, with which Prabhas had hit a record September 2019 release of Rs 89 crore gross earnings across all languages on its first day.
With 232.6 crore amassed worldwide over all languages, Saaho ended up being one of the noted pan-India releases of its time.
