Pawan Kalyan’s latest release, They Call Him OG, is rewriting box office records within just two days of release. Directed by Sujeeth, the gangster drama starring Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi, and Priyanka Mohan has already become the actor’s highest-grossing film ever, surpassing the lifetime earnings of Bheemla Nayak (2022).
OG Worldwide Box Office Collection – Day 2
Released on September 25 with paid premieres on September 24, OG opened to massive hype. According to its producers DVV Entertainment, the film grossed ₹154 crore worldwide on day one, including premiere shows. Trade portal Sacnilk pegged the figure slightly lower at ₹144 crore.
By the end of day two, the film has collected:
India Net Collection (2 Days): ₹103.50 crore
Overseas Collection: ₹47.35 crore
Worldwide Total: ₹171 crore gross
With this, OG has already beaten the lifetime earnings of Bheemla Nayak (₹158.5 crore) in just 48 hours. The premium ticket pricing—₹1000 in Andhra Pradesh and ₹800 in Telangana—also contributed significantly to its record-breaking numbers.
Pawan Kalyan’s Box Office Journey
The actor’s last release, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, managed a lifetime gross of ₹116.82 crore. With OG maintaining strong momentum, trade experts expect it to become Pawan Kalyan’s first ₹200 crore film. The film is also on track to cross Ram Charan’s Game Changer (₹186 crore) soon, positioning itself as the second-highest-grosser of 2025, behind Sankranthiki Vasthunam (₹255 crore worldwide).

Helmed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under DVV Entertainment, They Call Him OG follows the story of Ojas Gambheera (Pawan Kalyan), a feared gangster who comes out of retirement at the request of Satya Dada (Prakash Raj). His return pits him against the menacing Omi Bhau (Emraan Hashmi). The film also features Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Subhalekha Sudhakar in key roles. Interestingly, the climax teases a sequel, keeping fans excited for what’s next.
