Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has once again proved his box office dominance as his upcoming action drama OG (They Call Him OG) creates history in North America. Directed by Sujeeth and backed by DVV Entertainment, the film has crossed USD 1 million (₹8.3 crore approx.) in advance bookings for its US and Canada premieres, making it the fastest Indian film ever to achieve the milestone — and that too 21 days ahead of release.
Record-Breaking Ticket Sales
According to box office tracker Venky_BO, OG has already sold over 34,000 tickets across North America, including 31,000 tickets worth USD 920K in the USA alone. These bookings span 1,480+ shows across 400 locations, with AMC Cinemas yet to open sales.
With nearly three weeks still remaining, the film is expected to post staggering pre-sale numbers, potentially surpassing the North American advance booking record set by Rajinikanth’s Coolie. Early estimates suggest OG could collect USD 3 million on its premiere day.
