Pawan Kalyan’s action-packed thriller OG continues its box office dominance, maintaining strong audience interest even after the initial weekend rush. The film, portraying Kalyan as former gangster Ojas Gambheera, successfully passed Monday’s screening test, reporting a typical weekday dip.

On Monday, the movie earned Rs 7.50 crore net in India, marking a 60 per cent drop from Sunday’s Rs 18.50 crore, following standard trends for large-scale mass entertainers. Despite the dip, OG has amassed Rs 147 crore net (Rs 168 crore gross) domestically over its first five days, showcasing the film’s robust performance.

According to the producers, DVV Entertainment, OG generated Rs 252 crore globally during its opening weekend. Monday’s collection added an estimated Rs 13 crore, bringing the worldwide total to Rs 265 crore.

The film now claims the title of highest-grossing Telugu release of the year, surpassing Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vasthunam, which concluded its run at Rs 255 crore worldwide. With current momentum, industry analysts predict OG could exceed Rs 300 crore worldwide by the second weekend, a milestone no Telugu film has reached so far in 2025.

Directed by Sujeeth, OG follows Ojas Gambheera as he returns to Mumbai to confront a rising gangster, Omi, played by Emraan Hashmi in his Telugu cinema debut. The cast also includes Priyanka Mohan, Sriya Reddy, Arjun Das, and Prakash Raj.
