She shared her thoughts about the superstar’s aura and how he manages the weight of fame.
Why Moushumi Thinks Amitabh Bachchan Never Stops Acting
While talking with Filmfare, Moushumi Chatterjee shared her thoughts about Mr. Bachan and said that she feels pity for Amitabh Bachchan. In an interview she said - "Amitabh Bachchan is a very intelligent man. He always uses politically right words. I sometimes pity him because I think most of the time he is only performing because that is all that he knows. I might be wrong, but that’s how I feel about him. It is because of his image. He has a huge image, which nobody else has managed to achieve.”.
Moushumi’s comparison on Big B with Rajesh Khanna
According to recent reports, Moushumi Chatterjee shared her thoughts on how Amitabh Bachchan and Rajesh Khanna handled their stardom, highlighting the contrasting ways each of them managed their fame. She said- "Amitabh has managed to stay grounded despite immense success. Something that Rajesh Khanna failed at. He was blown up with his success. As the saying goes: ‘Ek anpadh gunda aur ek padhe likhe gunde mein bahaut farq hota hai’ (There is always a difference between a literate and illiterate goon). I have never seen Amitabh Bachchan with flatterers. However, Rajesh Khanna was always surrounded by these people. He needed that attention and pampering.”

After a long break from cinema, Moushumi Chatterjee made her comeback with Aarii, a Bengali film directed by Jiit Chakraborty and co-starring Yash Dasgupta and Nusrat Jahan. The movie is about the deep emotional ties between a widowed mother and her devoted son. Aarii released in theatres on April 25. Meanwhile, her last film with Amitabh Bachan, Piku,was re-released on May 9. Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan, who was last seen in the Tamil film Vettaiyan and the Telugu film Kalki 2898 AD, is set to reprise his role as Ashwatthama in the highly anticipated sequel to Kalki.
