Veteran actor Mohanlal, who has delivered two successful films this year, is now gearing up for his upcoming release, Vrusshabha. To celebrate Mohanlal’s 65th birthday, the makers unveiled his first look from the highly anticipated historical action-drama.
Sharing the poster on X, Mohanlal expressed his excitement:
“This one is special — dedicating it to all my fans. The wait ends. The storm comes to life. I proudly present the first glimpse of VRUSSHABHA, a story that will captivate your spirit and reverberate throughout time.”
He added, “Unveiling this on my birthday makes it all the more meaningful — your love has always been my greatest strength.”
Film critic Taran Adarsh also posted the first look on X, noting, “Mohanlal’s First Look from Pan-India Film Vrusshabha Unveiled on His Birthday – 16 Oct 2025 Release.”

Directed by Nanda Kishore, Vrusshabha is set to hit theatres across India on October 16, 2025, releasing in five languages: Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi.
The first glimpse of Vrusshabha showcases Mohanlal in golden-brown royal armour designed with a dragon scale pattern, wielding a massive sword. His look is completed with a white tilak, long hair, a thick beard, and traditional accessories including a nose ring.
Alongside Mohanlal, the film features Shanaya Kapoor, Zara Khan, Roshan Meka, Srikanth Meka, and Ragini Dwivedi. Touted as a grand saga, Vrusshabha aims to redefine epic storytelling in Indian cinema.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal has had a strong 2025 with the critical and commercial successes of L2: Empuraan and Thudarum, further cementing his status as one of the industry’s finest.
