Teja Sajja’s Mirai collects ₹56.75 crore in 5 days, rivaling the success of HanuMan at the box office

Mirai appears to be the blockbuster of Actor Teja Sajja, running strong at the Indian box office. This Telugu fantasy epic phased by Karthik Gattamneni has collected an impressive ₹56.75 crore nett in India within 5 days, equaling the success of Sajja's earlier blockbuster HanuMan.
Inspired by mythology and the legends of Lord Ram, Mirai has had a massive resonance with the audiences, especially in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, outperforming even HanuMan within its initial offense.
Day-wise collection (Nett)
- Friday: ₹13 Cr
- Saturday: ₹15 Cr
- Sunday: ₹16.6 Cr
- Monday: ₹6.4 Cr
- Tuesday: ₹5.75 Cr
Total: (5 days) ₹56.75 Cr
Mirai closed the weekend with a ₹71.50 crore gross, very much close to HanuMan’s ₹72.65 crore. The big difference came regionally: HanuMan made roughly ₹26 crore from AP and Telangana in its opening weekend, whereas Mirai has grossed a whopping ₹36 crore already from the same region.
Domestic vs Global Performance
Considering the global charts, HanuMan still kept the upper hand, especially due to its stronger overseas numbers. Mirai, on the other hand, has probably built a sturdier ground in India; the film has clocked ₹71.50 crore worldwide in just three days, giving testimony to its blistering pace at home.
Teja Sajja's Box Office Streak
Two back-to-back hits have proved that Teja Sajja indeed is a box-office star of pan-India levels. Mirai and HanuMan managed to proceed along his team, augmenting his draw and casting him as one of the most bankable young actors in Telugu cinema today.
