Mirai Box Office Day 3: Teja Sajja’s Superhero Film Rakes in ₹16.50 Crore; Weekend Total at ₹44.50 Crore

Teja Sajja’s fantasy action-thriller Mirai continues its strong box office run, minting ₹16.50 crore on Day 3 (Sunday), pushing its total domestic collection to an impressive ₹44.50 crore.

Strong Opening Weekend

Released on September 12, Mirai opened with ₹13 crore on Day 1, followed by ₹15 crore on Saturday. With Sunday’s ₹16.50 crore, the film wrapped up its first weekend on a high note, despite stiff competition from Lokah: Chapter 1 and Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle.

Occupancy Report

In the Telugu market, the film recorded a robust 75.41% overall occupancy on Day 3. Morning shows began with nearly 67% turnout, which surged to 83% in the afternoon. Evening shows stayed strong at 81%, while night screenings held steady with 71%.

The Hindi version showed steady growth, reporting 30.53% occupancy across theatres. Morning shows opened at 14%, rising to 37% in the afternoon, peaking at 42% in the evening, and closing at 28% during night shows.

Directed and shot by Karthik Gattamneni, Mirai features Teja Sajja portraying the role of a Super Yodha protecting the nine sacred scriptures from a threat of the powerful dark sorcerer enacted by Manoj Manchu. Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, Ritika Nayak, and Tanja Keller also star in the film, weaving in high-octane action sequences with some of the finest VFX.
