Rumors surrounding the health of Megastar Chiranjeevi's mother, Anjana Devi, have caused concern among fans, but the Mega family has now addressed the issue with clarity. Social media and some media outlets recently claimed that Anjana Devi had fallen seriously ill, prompting speculation about Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s sudden trip from Amaravati to Hyderabad.
However, Mega Brother and actor Nagababu quickly stepped in to clear the air. Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) account, he stated, "Amma's health is perfectly fine. There is no truth to the rumors being spread." His statement effectively shut down the baseless speculation.
Adding further clarity, Chiranjeevi’s PR team also issued a statement dismissing the false reports. “There is no truth in the news that Chiranjeevi’s mother is in a serious condition. Chiranjeevi is currently busy with a film shoot in Shamirpet. Pawan Kalyan’s visit to Hyderabad is purely for personal reasons. We urge the public and media to refrain from spreading misinformation,” they said.
Anjana Devi, mother of Chiranjeevi, Nagababu, and Pawan Kalyan, is often seen as the matriarch of the influential Mega Family in the Telugu film industry. Despite not having any background in cinema, Chiranjeevi rose to become one of the most beloved actors in Telugu cinema, followed by his brothers who also made their mark. Today, even the next generation of the Mega Family is stepping into the limelight.
With Pawan Kalyan now balancing his political role as Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and his career in films, any news surrounding his personal life draws significant attention. Thankfully, in this case, the rumors were unfounded, and fans can breathe easy knowing Anjana Devi is in good health.
