On Monday, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru got married in the Linga Bhairavi temple situated within the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore. With this, the actress has taken the plunge again after her marriage to actor Naga Chaitanya in 2017, which resulted in divorce in 2021.
Raj Nidimoru's first marriage was to Shhyamali De. They had a traditional wedding in 2015 and Shhyamali celebrated their seventh anniversary on Instagram in 2022, sharing a wedding picture from the day they tied the knot.
Reports say that Shhyamali and Raj got divorced in 2022. However, she sent out a Valentine’s Day message to him in 2023, saying, “When I count my blessings, I always think of you. Happy Valentine’s Day R.”
A day before Nikki and Samantha’s wedding, Shhyamali shared a quote on her Instagram Stories that many considered an indirect commentary on the new marriage: “Desperate people do desperate things,” as per Michael Brooks.
Shhyamali De has made her marks in the Hindi film industry as an assistant director on Aamir Khan’s Rang De Basanti and also on Ajay Devgn’s Omkara. She has been credited as the creative head for the Raj & DK directed 2014 romantic-comedy Happy Ending.
